This panorama was a spur of the moment decision of mine. I’d gone to take photos of The Thames and decided to walk around a bit and found myself at Piccadilly Circus.

My plan was to take several photos, each one looking directly at the buildings opposite and work my way around Piccadilly Circus. Only when trying to stitch all the pictures together later did I realise how difficult this was to photograph properly. After hours of painstaking manual stitching I came up with this. For a while now, I’ve wanted to redo the stitching process but I can’t quite bring myself to do it. Maybe one day.
